1:1 Coaching for Teens

The adolescent years are incredibly formative. During this time, teens begin to understand themselves, form their identities and establish long-lasting habits. This is also the stage where they encounter significant life challenges, such as navigating complex social dynamics, balancing an increased academic workload, and managing the emotional and physical shifts brought on by hormonal changes. This is why early healing is so crucial to help prevent any internalization of trauma and chronic nervous system dysregulated . Starting early means they won't have to unlearn the harmful patterns or undergo intense healing processes in adulthood, as so many of us have experienced. 

My passion for creating this program for teens stems from my own upbringing. I wish I had access to the tools now I teach that could have helped me understand self-love. Emotional regulation, communication and conflict resolution as a teen. This program focuses on implementing essential habits that support teenagers as they grow, helping them build a solid foundation so they can focus on their passions, excel in school and thrive in all areas of life. 

What We Work On: 

Emotional Regulation: Teaching teens how to identify, understand, and manage their emotions through mindfulness, breathwork, and other healing techniques. 
Self-Confidence and Self-Love: Helping them build a positive self-image through EFT Tapping, affirmations and other personal development exercises. 
Stress and Anxiety Management: Providing practical tools to manage anxiety and stress using breathwork and grounding techniques.
Communication and Conflict Resolution: Guiding teens in expressing their emotions in healthy ways and resolving conflict with family friends and peers. 
Goal-Setting and Personal Growth: Teaching strategies for setting and achieving personal, academic and emotional goals through small, actionable steps. 

    How the Process Works:

    1. Consultation Call With Parents (30-minutes): We begin with a free consultation call with the parents to discuss your goals for the program. During this call, we’ll go over logistics, pricing, and available packages to ensure the program aligns with your needs. 


    2. Initial Assessment Call with Parents (60-minutes): If we move forward, I’ll spend time getting to know more details and understanding the goals you have for them. During this stage, we’ll cover the following:

    • Emotional and Behavioral Overview: We’ll explore your teen’s emotional state, typical behavioral patterns, and any challenges they may be facing.
    • Family Dynamics and Support: Understanding how your family manages emotional challenges and the available support systems will be key in creating a coaching plan that works for everyone.
    • Strengths and Interests: We’ll identify your teen’s strengths, interests, and hobbies to ensure the coaching sessions are engaging and personalized.
    • Goals for Coaching: Together, we’ll establish clear, actionable goals for your teen’s emotional, academic, and personal growth.

    3. First Session with Teen: In the first session with your teen, I’ll take time to get to know them through their own perspective, understand what motivates them, and explore the personal goals they wish to achieve through coaching. This session helps build trust and ensures the plan aligns with their needs and desires.


    4. Customized Coaching Plan: Based on the consultation and intake, the first session with your teen, and our discussions, I will develop a personalized coaching plan tailored to your teen’s needs and goals, factoring in the package you select.


    5. Weekly Sessions for Your Teen: We will then set up regular weekly coaching sessions that follow the customized plan, focusing on helping your teen achieve their emotional and personal growth goals.
